Conferences, summer 2018
I will be participating in two conferences this summer, with presentations that focus on widely diverging topics. The first presentation has been prepared with Anna-Lena Fredriksson (Gothenburg University) and Becky Bergman (Chalmers University of Technology) and is entitled “Genre Recognition and Production: A Comparative Study of L1 and L2 Speakers.” Our work will be presented in June at the Norwegian Forum for English for Academic Purposes in Oslo, Norway.
The second conference presentation is also in June, and will take place at the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts, Europe conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The presentation I will deliver there is on “Literature-Generated Empathy to Teach 'Green' Engineering Ethics.”
